That is a very interesting thread, I have not seen it before.
After I first learned the Stockfleth's move, I reduced it to one rotation of the hand, causing a small mound of grinds at the South end, then one swipe to the North. It takes me literally 2 seconds.
It seems that one of the best things you can do for your technique is to simplify it. The less you're messing with stuff, the less variables entering the process.
